PFC Fosters Parent-Teacher Positive Communication
“Now is an extraordinary time for us to become parents and teachers [of] our children [as they] are [being] flooded with too much information and disinformation that can be easily accessed through the web and social media, which brings serious concerns for all of us,” said Ms. Do An Miranda, the Tertiary School’s Parent Faculty Council (PFC) President, during the seminar held at Rosendo Herrera Hall last Jan. 19 with the topic, ‘A Discussion on Positive Communication for Teachers and Parents.’

Esprit de Corps of the International Studies Community
EVERY October, a month-long celebration is held for the International Studies (IS) community, and this year marks the first full face-to-face return after having it online due to the pandemic. With the theme, “Global Citizenship: Discovering Interconnectedness and Celebrating Diversity,” the Bedan International Studies Association (BISA) organized events throughout the month to encourage students from all three majors to participate, recognize, and commemorate the comradeship formed by the IS community.
SBCA Tertiary Schools celebrates Integration 2023
LAST Dec. 4, the Student Executive Council (SEC) hosted this year’s annual Integration at the SBCA Gymnasium with the theme, “Isang Tinig: Ilabas Ang Lakas ng Bedista!” The event kicked off with an opening ceremony last Nov. 13, followed by the booths set up by the co-curricular and extra-curricular organizations at the SBCA Covered Court.
SBCA produces 176 new lawyers
AFTER three months, the 2023 Bar exam results were finally released last Dec. 5. San Beda College Alabang – School of Law produced 176 new Bedan Lawyers. Out of 10,387 examinees, 3,812 passed the 2023 Bar exams, which makes the passing rate 36.77 percent, as announced by the 2023 Bar Chair Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando.
