'THESE events are part of something greater' says Keila Juanico (IV-BSBA-FM), Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) President, in an interview with THE BEDAN HERALD after the success of their first ever Financial Caravan series. The series of events marks the beginning of a yearly celebration that shall contribute to the student's development and financial awareness.

JFINEX organized a three-day event from Nov. 13 to 15 to equip financial management students with the real-life processes and skills needed to develop their expertise.

"The goal was achieved by enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, which sets a milestone for JFINEX," Juanico proudly states. The events they had prepared strengthened the organization's commitment to shaping each student with informed financial decision-making, creativity, and strategic thinking.

Juanico also mentions that this marks the start of a new tradition in JFINEX, assisting each student in navigating their lives successfully in the future. Driven by its mission of creating a platform for financial literacy and competence, the organization's focus on each event allows students to navigate their lives successfully into the future.

The event began with the sole speaker, Robin Santos, unit manager of PRU LIFE UK, for the Financial Literacy Caravan Seminar: Career Kickstart. The speaker stressed the significance of managing resources well to ensure future security and growth.

Santos emphasized the importance of long-term investments, using time as an ally and it being crucial for financial growth. "That's our purpose, giving our clients' millions of protection so that those millions can continue 'yung dream, he said.

The seminar was followed by a game of Monopoly: JFINEX Moneython at Manny Reyes Hall, with a human-sized board and dice to fully immerse each player. Divided into groups, students were challenged with the 'out-of-the-box' applications of the money management and property trading game. By the end, Team Labubu third-year financial management students Judy Ann Dela Cruz, Trishia Nacpil, Julius Bartolome, Aaron Esquillo, and Rome Cabacunga accumulated the highest profits and properties and were declared champions.

For the second day of the Financial Caravan series, the Financial EcoGlam unleashed and combined budgeting and art skills to craft outfits. The participants showcased their finest Ukay Retro attire and modeled their way at Bellarmine Hall. Nicola Lanza (III-BSBA-FM) won the walk and outfit, Zameer Bashir (III-BSBA-FM) was the first runner-up, and Princess Manalo (III-BSBA-FM) was the second runner-up.

To culminate the Financial Caravan series, JFINEX held the Financial Race at the SBCA field to foster teamwork and camaraderie for the final day. After working through eight stations, Nicolas Cruz, Marco Lorenzo, and Ian Perez, financial management seniors reigned champion.
