Last Feb. 19 to 23, the Bedan Information Technology Society (BITS) held an online Electronic Sports (E-sports) tournament that was open to the college students of San Beda College Alabang (SBCA) to compete during the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) Week. The event consists of three games, Valorant, Mobile Legends, and Minecraft. Tertiary School students quickly gathered their teams and signed up to win the title of champions and a cash prize of P1,500.

AFTER their historic gold medal finish at the 2023 Asian Games, the new era of Gilas Pilipinas looks to have a strong start to 2024 with the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. Saudi Arabia is hosting the tournament for the second time after 1997. Gilas will face New Zealand, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong in Group B in the Asia Cup Qualifiers following the draw that happened last September.
