In the 56th Season WNCAA Opener between the PWU Patriots and the San Beda Red Lions, Patriots scored a 3-0 sweep, the Red Lions held their heads high with games still ahead of the season.

THE 56th season for Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) opened with the University of Asia & Pacific (UA&P) Women’s Futsal team defeating San Beda Collega Alabang (SBCA) with a score of 1-0 at St. Paul’s Activity Center last Sept. 9, marking the first game of both teams and UA&P’s first win of the season.

MARKING more than five decades of women’s sports, the Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) opened its 56th season last Sept. 6, with 16 schools gathered at the Makati Coliseum. The introduction of athletes came with a parade and a dance number for each school.

LAST Sept. 3, the Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) held its official press conference for the upcoming 56th season at Assumption College San Lorenzo in Makati City. Representatives from 16 schools and the WNCAA board of trustees attended the event.

DURING the next season of snow, the 2026 Winter Olympics will take place in Milan and in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from Feb. 6 to Feb. 22. 93 countries, including the Philippines, will compete in this monumental multi-sports event.
