“FOR this year, the most important thing for the engineering department and the Junior Bedan Engineering Society (JBES) is exposure,” says Karl Ng (II-BSEE), the first president of SBCA’s first co-curricular organization from the Engineering Department. JBES comprises students with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.

MOVING to the final stages before graduation, the Counseling and Career Development Services (CCDS) kicked off a seminar last Oct. 19 at Manny Reyes Hall, orienting interns and fourth-year students of the tertiary school regarding the Student Internship Program (SIP). WITH a makeshift ring in the center of the Manny Reyes Hall and rambutan served to the students of entrepreneurship, the Bedan Entrepreneurs Society (BES) held their General Assembly last Oct. 18. The theme, “Rambutan: Bedan Entrepreneurs Society Members Onboarding” is a tongue-in-cheek reference among the officers of the organization; reminiscing on many different rambulan trends during the pandemic and then later becoming online rambulan.
JPIA celebrates the triumph of new CPA passers
TO celebrate the lights of triumph, the SBCA Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) had a testimonial dinner in honor of the new Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examinations (CPALE) passers at the Manny Reyes Hall last Oct. 12 with the theme, “Luminate: Celebrating the Lights of Triumph.” On the same day, a Thanksgiving mass for the upcoming CPALE takers scheduled on Oct. 25 to 27 was presided over by Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB, SBCA Rector President at the St. Benedict Chapel.
