"Viva Sto. Niño is more than just a Bedan tradition; it's a cornerstone of a Bedan journey," said Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB, the Rector President. The Bedan community unites as the tertiary schools proudly host the Pista ng Sto. Niño 2024 festivities.

Before the official opening of the Pista ng Sto. Niño, a Novena Mass, Procession, and Vigil were presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony Ma. Mendoza, OSB. The administrators, moderators, students from the tertiary schools, and the School of Law (SOL) attended the event.

Bedanz Dance Troupe-Alabang (BDTA) gave an opening of Salvo performance. Followed by the enthronement procession and the declaration of the official opening of the Pista ng Sto. Niño.

Athletes participated in a yell dance and assisted the administrators with the first Human Formation of the Sto. Niño, marking history for this year.

"This year's theme is Dakilang Gabay sa sama-samang pag-lalakbay, so as we dance, rejoice, and celebrate as a community, may we look back with gratitude at God's grace, guidance, and goodness to the San Beda College Alabang community," remarked by the Hermano Mayor, Atty. Juan Ruffo Chong, Dean of the School of Business, Accountancy and Management (SBAM), for this year's Sto. Niño. He warmly welcomed and hoped to see all the students throughout the week-long celebration.

Concluding the first day, the Tertiary Schools Community Agape, organized by the Student Executive Council (SEC), was held at the St. Bede Parking Area. Various activities are lined up for this year's celebration, culminating in the eagerly anticipated closing ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 20.
