THE San Beda College Alabang Women’s Futsal Team (SBCAWFT) scored a decisive 9-0 victory over Assumption College (AC) at St. Paul College Pasig last Sept. 27, earning their first win in the senior’s futsal match of the Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) 57th season.

The SBCAWFT had a dream start in the first half, completely controlling and dominating the field. They scored a goal within four minutes and kept up their relentless attack, scoring goal after goal, and used their momentum to score six goals all in the first half.

Despite the loud cheers and support that the opposing team received throughout the match, the SBCAWFT showcased their grit as they carried through the second half, completely dominating the field and adding three more goals on top of their stellar first-half performance, leading to a 9-0 victory.

In a postgame interview with THE BEDAN HERALD, Team Captain Yesha Natividad (III-BSP), expressed her pride in their team’s dominant victory, where she shared that she and the team were happy that each player had the opportunity to compete together during the match.

Natividad hopes that the momentum will continue as the season progresses. “Eto yung first win namen na magkakasama and nakalaro lahat so sobrang masaya talaga and I think mag bu-build up to’ ng magandang momentum para sa amen ngayong season and hopefully magtuloy-tuloy na siya,” she shared.

The Women’s Futsal Team hopes to continue to carry their momentum as they compete against Miriam College (MC) on Oct. 4.
