PSC, Elite link expands networking opportunities for Filipino Athletes

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) partnered with sports technology company Elite Link to launch a digital networking and recruitment platform aimed at expanding opportunities for Filipino athletes during a signing event held at Solaire Resort on Aug. 13.

Designed as a digital networking platform, Elite Link connects athletes with coaches, recruiters, sports organizations, and institutions worldwide, and aims to broaden the lens of sports scouting and discovery, allowing for a more modern approach to athlete exposure.

What is Elite Link?

Elite Link functions as a sports-focused networking application, often compared to LinkedIn for athletes. Users can create personalized profiles containing their athletic background, achievements, statistics, highlight videos, photos, and competition history.

Coaches, recruiters, and sports organizations may use the platform to discover athletes for scholarships, club teams, leagues, and national sports programs.

Beyond recruitment, the platform also includes leaderboards, head-to-head challenges, and event management tools designed to increase athlete engagement and online visibility.

Creating an Elite Link account is open to the public and is not limited exclusively to athletes. Individuals may register using Google, Apple ID, email, or mobile authentication, while recruiters, coaches, agents, teams, and sports organizations can also create accounts according to their respective roles. Athletes seeking additional credibility may apply for account verification through the platform’s verification process.

According to EliteLink.Org, the app has recorded more than 1,000 downloads on both the Apple and Google Play Store as of July 2026.

An App for Every Athlete

While the platform was initially launched to strengthen opportunities for Filipino athletes through the PSC partnership, Elite Link is designed to support worldwide connections between athletes and scouts. Users from different countries may create accounts, allowing Filipino athletes to gain exposure to international scouts, clubs, and organizations instead of being limited to domestic recruitment.

The platform was developed to bridge the gap between talented athletes and recruitment opportunities by providing a centralized digital database accessible to sports organizations.

This partnership with Elite Link is a beautiful gift for Philippine sports. It is a chance for our young, talented athletes to find their communities, to discover opportunities, and to realize their potential, said PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio after signing the memorandum of understanding at the Wildflour Restaurant - Rockwell in Makati City.
