ACCLAIMED Filipino rock band Lola Amour, known for OPM hits such as ‘Pwede Ba’ and ‘Raining in Manila,’ took center stage as the main act during the final day of this year’s Pista ng Sto. Niño celebration at SBCA.
This wasn’t the first time Lola Amour graced the stage at SBCA. Previously, they had performed as the second act during the 2020 SBCA Fundraising Concert. However, their anticipated performance during SBCA’s Jubilee year celebration was canceled due to severe rainfall. Despite the setback, the SBCA community awaited their return to the SBCA stage for the Pista ng Sto. Niño celebration.
Backstage, THE BEDAN HERALD secured the opportunity to interview the group. When asked about their sentiments on taking the spotlight as the main headline, as opposed to being the second act during their performance way back in 2020, "It feels pretty good knowing that we've come a long way, especially coming back to Alabang, it's a pretty surreal experience," they expressed.
Throughout the band's performance, the crowd enthusiastically sang along, and couples were seen swaying to the rhythm. Even though it was raining in Alabang, it didn't stop Bedans from singing their hearts out. Their musical contribution indeed added an extra layer of charm to the festival's conclusion.
