SBCA celebrates 100% LET Passing Rate
THE Batch 2023 takers achieved an outstanding feat during the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Graduates who took the examination from the College successfully passed, garnering a 100% passing rate as the results were announced last May 19.
History repeats itself: No elected SEC officers for A.Y ‘23-’24
THE Bedan Electoral Committee (BELCOM) announced the long-awaited election results for the Student Executive Council (SEC) A.Y ‘23-’24 last June 16. Initially, the voting period, conducted online via Zoom, was held from May 29 to June 2. However, it was extended up until June 5 and again adjusted up until June 6 due to technical issues.

IN CELEBRATION of the 50th Year Anniversary of San Beda College Alabang (SBCA), the “Bene Beda Balik-Saya: Isang Pasasalamat” concert was held to honor the alumni and retirees for their years of service within the institution. Featuring one of the Philippines’ renowned chorale groups, the University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors (UPSA) certainly made Oct. 15 a night to remember.
Bedans’ Phenomenal Return: Thumps Once Again!
STUDENTS, faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) celebrated the return of face-to-face integration held at the SBCA football field last December 2, 2022. Students from Psychology and Education won in the Battle Cry competition, while their counterparts from the Legal Management took home the championship for the performance competition.

LAST year, San Beda College Alabang (SBCA) commemorated its golden jubilee by conducting festivities and events such as the Heritage Walk and Alumni Homecoming. Today, SBCA upholds its Benedictine values and spirit as some of the offices in the College reopened its doors to the Bedan community.

This prompt was one of the few debate topics discussed during the comeback event of San Beda Alabang Debate Society (SBADS), “Speak with Passion: Open Mic and Welcome Debate,” held on Oct. 27 in Fr. Bellarmine Hall at SBCA.

A new chapter in history unfolded in March 2020 when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Covid-19 a pandemic, forcing people to isolate themselves from the world and face their innermost turmoil. The pandemic also caused a rift in everyone’s mental health, most notably in students.
