SBCA produces 176 new lawyers

AFTER three months, the 2023 Bar exam results were finally released last Dec. 5. San Beda College Alabang – School of Law produced 176 new Bedan Lawyers. Out of 10,387 examinees, 3,812 passed the 2023 Bar exams, which makes the passing rate 36.77 percent, as announced by the 2023 Bar Chair Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando.

Nurturing Peace Through Transformative Conversations

ENGAGING students of the Tertiary Schools of San Beda College Alabang (SBCA) in various holistic and informative discussions about the state of unrest in the Philippines, the Bedan International Studies Association (BISA) organized the PEACEtahan Series to create a platform for engaging discussions, and bring together students to take action and foster holistic understanding and promote informed perspectives among the tertiary school students last Nov. 14 at the Tugade Auditorium.

“THE act of reclaiming marketing managements lost culture to see to it that the barriers between levels are removed and each of us gets to act in camaraderie,” said Kenneth Perez (IV – BSBA MM), External Vice President of the Junior Bedan Marketing Association (JBMA) during its General Assembly held last Oct. 20 with the theme, “RetroVision: Blast From the Past.” Along with the inspirational talk, the event also had icebreaker games, raffles, and an intermission number by Teatro Bedista.

SBCA Tertiary Schools Celebrate The Pillars of Education: Teachers

CELEBRATING the secondary parents of every student’s academic journey, a commemoration for World Teacher’s Day was held last Oct. 13 at the Manny Reyes Hall, with the theme ‘Gala Professtars.’ The event was organized by the Student Executive Council (SEC), SBCA Parent and Faculty Council (PFC) and in collaboration with the Bedan Educators’ Society (BEdS), Beda.Comm, Silakbo, Himig Bedista, Bedanz Dance Troupe, and Peer Facilitators’ Guild, to honor the professors and teaching staff for their dedication and commitment to their lifelong profession of teaching.

Advancing Towards a Brighter Future

“IF you want to become a lawyer, get it, it’s yours. If you want it, achieve it, it’s yours,” said Attorney John Jacome, Human Resources Director of San Beda College Alabang (SBCA) and a professor from the SBCA Legal Management Department and School of Law. These words instilled determination and endurance in the Legal Management students as they held their town hall meeting organized by the Junior Bedan Law Circle (JBLC) with the theme, “LM Towards the Greater Future!” last Sept. 3 at the St. Maur Auditorium.
