ONE of the fundamental objectives of the internship program is to give young individuals a chance to receive training, learn new skills, and gain necessary job experience. After completing my third year of college and upon entering my fourth year, nearly closing the gap to graduate, I started with the question, “Paano kaya itong internship? Ano ba dapat ko gawin?” At first, I was confused, unsure how to start the process and where to ask since the setup slowly changed from online to face-to-face. Parents and other adults close to us tell us that an internship can heighten our awareness of community issues, motivate us to create opportunities, embrace new ideas, and give direction to positive change. Some may be excited or are still deciding on their actions, but how do you get there? Well, fellow Bedans, there will be many processes. Remember that every journey begins with a single step.

Halalan 2022: The Character Arc of the New Generation
EVERY story has a protagonist who will most likely face tough challenges along the road of uncertainty. Most importantly, protagonists should always carry a spark of inspiration for them to feel motivated and make their efforts worthwhile.

This common goal makes us part of a story where we have the power to vote for the next set of leaders our country needs. Although, this won’t come easy for there are opposing forces that will surely cause complications and division in the voting process.

Debunking the #PandemicEffect
“TOUGH times call for beautiful measures” – the slogan used in Belo’s pandemic effect campaign video. Changes are inevitable to happen during the pandemic. People go through different physical, emotional, and mental challenges. The pandemic made people focus on more important responsibilities in order to survive and tend to forget about taking care of their overall well-being. However, the pandemic is not the time to set up beauty standards and shame people on gaining weight, acne breakouts, body hair, and other physical changes that are, in fact, normal to the human body.
