‘A better and stronger Bedan Entrepreneurs Society (BES)’ is the ultimate vision of Juan Carlos P. Dulce (IV-BSE), the newly elected President of BES, during their oath-taking ceremony last Aug. 16 at the Audio Visual Room (AVR), St. Bede Hall.
“I expect that these officers will lead the way to new opportunities for our entrepreneurship students, and I am looking forward to it,” said Dr. Emmanuel D. Evangelista, the Department Chairperson of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, in his opening remarks. Followed by the induction of the newly elected officers, led by Atty. Juan Ruffo D. Chong, the Dean of the School of Business, Accountancy, and Management (SBAM).
In his message to the incoming officers, Atty. Chong expressed how special their program is. “It requires creativity and is designed to make meaningful contributions to society,” he said.
The SBAM Dean looks forward to the organization’s success as it begins a new chapter with new leaders. He wants to be surprised by its wonderful activities this school year and will support it for as long as he can. “You show us what your plan is, you show us that it works, and we will throw behind 500% of our support in the activities that you do,” he added.
Dulce also thanked the attendees and affirmed his goal of better communication and coordination within BES to be more efficient than before. “My plan for this year is to offer opportunities for students to showcase their own brand and to build relationships with other organizations,” he said.
Atty. Ryan Cancio, moderator of the Bedan Entrepreneurs Society, concluded the event by congratulating the officers. “I personally look forward to work with you for this academic year,” he expressed.
BES ended the celebration with a Eucharistic celebration at the St. Bede Chapel, presided over by Fr. Anthony Ma. Mendoza, OSB.
