“Let’s Band Together”
“Inspired by the likes of Green Day, Justin Bieber, and Eraserheads, Mijesric James M. Turla (II-BACMS) found his purpose in music. In his nine years of practice, with the support of his family and his perseverance through the difficulties of work-school balance, he is able to start his music career by producing his own original solo songs as well as for his band, I.O.D (Iris of Dynamis). He emphasizes the importance of openness in exploring all kinds of music, patience in pursuing music, and God as the center of his talent. If genres like Pop-punk, Pop, Rock, and OPM rock your world, then be one of more than six thousand streamers of James, @JaeTurla on Spotify and Youtube
“Cover Lover”
Touching the hearts of many with her songs, Marie Buraga (III-BACMS) grew her craft from a form of self-expression to practicing and continuously improving herself. With Moira Dela Torre and Yeng Constantino as her inspirations, she overcame her struggle in finding her sound.
Her talents did not go unnoticed as she auditioned for Pilipinas Got Talent, Idol Philippines, and Tawag ng Tanghalan. She ultimately gained a following in Kumu Philippines, and signed with Ivory Records Philippines soon after which enabled the release of her original songs, and also alleviated the demands of juggling school and career. She shares that what sets her apart from others is the heart she puts into singing and despite instances of almost giving up, one must wait for the right moment for something bigger and better. If you have Soul, R&B, OPM and Chill in your playlist, check out @ElaineBuraga on Spotify, Facebook, Youtube, and Kumu with two thousand followers and counting.
“Indie Straight Up”
What started from a laptop hobby turned into art — that is Allen Profugo (IV-BAP) for you. Seeing his self-growth in songwriting led him to make relations within the artist community as both audience and helping others with their music journeys. He discovered that taking breathers allowed him to overcome difficulties in songwriting, so he evolved to producing and sound engineering. He shares that one must believe in and enjoy one’s music while connecting with the artist community. Come vibe on Chill, Hip-Hop, and more subgenres with Allen on his Youtube @Lenn1776 and Spotify @Lenn, and get that indie feel.
“Dream Chaser”
From chasing dreams to making reality, Cyrill Miguel G. Tumamak (I-BACMS), a.k.a. Miguel Gonzalez, is on his way. Singing as early as one-year-old, dancing and playing instruments at ten, and voice lessons with the likes of Vehnee Saturno, his path to a music career is well paved. Promising to finish his studies, along with the support of his family, kept him going throughout the difficulties of school- career management. In addition to his music, acting sets him apart as he underwent Star Magic workshops. To stay positive and hardworking are, what he says, important traits to make dreams happen. After participating in the P-Pop survival show Dream Maker on ABS-CBN, Miguel continues the path towards his dream.
