The Bedan Herald’s Third Annual [M]ulat Set to Tackle Pressing Matters

[M]ULAT: Mag-ulat at Magmulat returns for its third year, promising deep discussions of current sociopolitical issues in light of recent controversies surrounding government agencies such as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). This year’s forum will focus on what the Filipino people have been asking of their government: transparency and accountability. THE BEDAN HERALD’s third installment of [M]ulat will be held this Friday, Nov. 7, at the Manny Reyes Hall.

Stories Behind the Title: Bedan CPAs honored in Testimonial Dinner

APPLAUDING the recent success of the new Bedan Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and board takers of the May 2025 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE), the
SBCA Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) holds this year’s Testimonial Dinner to highlight the stories and struggles behind the sought-after CPA title. With the theme “Forged by Fire, A Celebration of Triumph,” the dinner was held last Oct. 18 at the Manny Reyes Hall.

CORA and SBCA continue collaboration toward Environmental Management and Protection

LAST Oct. 11, the Memorandum of Agreement signifying the continued partnership between San Beda College Alabang and Communities Organized for Resource Allocation (CORA) was signed by Prof. Carlo Tinio, NSTP Coordinator, and Antoinette Taus, actress and founder of CORA, along with SBCA Rotaract Executive President, Therese Yap (IV-BSBA-FM), who is working part-time on CORA, serving as witness. The agreement not only impacts SBCA but also the student organizations on campus, such as Rotaract, as it moves forward to future projects where it involves CORA.

Unity in Diversity celebrated in SBCA’s Model United Nations

“HISTORY shows that embracing diversity and common values has often been the foundation of lasting peace, inspiring hope for a more united future,” Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. D. De Villa, OSB spoke in his opening remarks for the SBCA Model United Nations IV (MUN), exemplifying the heart of the event, harmony between nations. The MUN is a three-day yearly event where student delegates simulate diplomacy between nations through debates and discussions to create solutions to prevailing issues. This year’s MUN was held last Oct. 6-8.
